Hello COMMUNITY friends and family -
Here are some reminders of happenings this weekend at The Community Fellowship. Remember to demonstrate the love of God to our community by serving and loving the people around you.
Just a reminder that I will be starting a ZUMBA class thursday night!!! $2 per class (the money will go to our youth group) and it starts at 6pm. If you have never tried ZUMBA you don’t know what you are missing!!! Come out and join me for lots of fun and support our awesome teens!!! Lisa Joyce Moore is the instructor.
Begin to pray for BACK2SCHOOL 2012 as we have invited some local friends from other churches and organizations to an information meeting tonight, Thursday, at 6:30pm in our conference room at church. If you have friends that go to other churches who might want to be involved, send them an invite to this meeting. We could use a couple volunteers to help! Call the church at 276-647-8231 for more info.
How about SCRAPBOOKING? Interesting in learning or some creative fun? Everyone is invited (regardless of experience) to two scrap booking classes that will be held at TCF on Friday this week and Friday, March 9th from 5:30 – 11:00 PM. Please plan to bring a snack to share as well as 8 – 10 photos and any scrap booking supplies you may have. A representative from Creative Memories will be at the classes! If you have any questions, please contact Yvonne Elgin.
Saturday evening is the 7th session of our marriage enrichment class. Pray for those who are involved. These will be offered again beginning in mid April.
This Sunday continues our series called MARGIN, and we will be talking about building financial margin in our lives. COMMUNITY 101 also continues.
Here are some people to pray for: Michelle Kasey asked us to pray for her brother, who is not saved, but he called Michelle and asked us to pray for a military friend of his whose daughter has a flesh eating bacteria and is at Baptist hospital. Pray for this man, his nickname is Steelrain, and pray for his daughter’s healing. Also pray for Jeff Dowdy who attends The Community as he had lots of chest pain and is having tests. Last, please pray for Stanley Waddell, a local pastor, who is also in the hospital after having chest pain. Stanley’s son, Mike, is a part of the Dream Center board.
